The Darkening

The Darkening is the sister piece to The Lightening.  Made with a salvaged wood frame that houses an abundance of found materials.  There are also drawers and doors that make the piece very interactive.  The Darkening is about my childhood going up into adolescence.   As it’s name suggests it gradates from light wood to almost black.
