Darkwood Daze
The title is a play on the dark wood that I used for the piece and the threatening nature of some of the objects in it. Like the cut throat razor, a thing I’ve always found frightening. The picture was taken by my mum of some women she worked with at Huntley & Palmers – the biscuit factory. It was taken just before WW2 was declared.
