Restless Nights

Restless Nights is the first piece I have made using colour. Pieces of Birch and poplar ply are individually painted with acrylic and house hold paints and then pieced together. I have also used shapes that I have cut using a laser cutter. This is very new in my work – I recently joined my local Makerspace where, along with lots of woodworking tools,  there is a laser cutter which I’ve learned to use. I also collect the waste from other users to put into the pieces. Using salvaged wood is really important in all of my pieces..
